Hi, Not sure if this has been shared before, however I have been running SMS campaigns for free. Well, when I say free I mean for the cost of a PAYG £5 Unlimited text plan (Check the services t&c if its allowed). It's quite simple and you can basically customize your campaigns with a little bit of coding. So, here is what I done; bought a cheap Android phone from china off eBay for about £30 installed this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...sgateway&hl=en Once you have installed the app and started it, you can browse to your phones ip and send a text, for example: localhost:9090/sendsms?phone=NUMBER&text=MESSAGE&password= I have installed a dynamic ip address app on the device and port forwarding on my router so that I can connect externally. I've then done some simple PHP coding that I have imported my numbers, saved messages and I'm basically just sending these texts out on a mass. The beauty of the app is that it also supports incoming text message, so it's easy to setup trigger keywords if thats any use to people too. Most android devices have a cap of 100 texts per hour, however if you do a quick google search with the model of the phone your using then you will come across a lot of alternatives. I haven't gone in to too much information here, but hopefully that provides you some use |

Hmm, I think if I am going to be running a professional SMS campaign for a professional company, I want to do things properly. If you treat your business as cheap as this then it always will be. Nothing wrong with paying normal prices for SMS texting. If you have happy clients then the expense will be tiny compared to the profit. I could also get free Internet by hacking my neighbors network. But why would I bother when I am running a real business. |

Of course this is true, and i don't think the post is really aimed at guys with a budget but rather those on a shoe string budget. In fact for one client i use a paid service and for several others this method. I in fact prefer using this way as it gives you more control. I use this method for a local gym who dont really have a big budget and i cant see any downside. |

This software is developed by APK SOFT s.r.o., as mentioned in the play store, are they reliable, i mean no offence, but security wise.

Up to now, I haven't had any issues - there are others out there that are even open source - but honestly, I've been doing a lot of work with it and haven't came across any issues.
