Question about creating an app that has a daily contest

Hey everyone,

I have a client that wants to create a mobile app that has a daily contest. Something like spinning a wheel to see what you've "won" for the day.

I think it is a great idea, but am not sure where to start in terms of app development.

I saw a product that has a scratch off ticket which is neat, but it isn't an app and support seemed to be a concern.
