App Submission

Fiverr.com is a known website to have people to create, develop, and submit apps for you.

Is anyone aware of any additional websites or sources one can visit to have your apps developed or submitted by professionals?

Well your best bet would be Freelancer and alike sites. This can be expensive though obviously, and it Really depends on your budget and what type of app it is.

You could, create your own, even without knowledge. There are tons of sites popping up that will allow you to do this . E.g AppArchitect

Im sure you'll find something by just trawling through google.

You can hire someone to make professional application and then upload on play store or various forums to sell or free of cost.

Be aware of using an online app builder. This is from the google play developer program policies:

Apps that are created by an automated tool or wizard service must not be submitted to Google Play by the operator of that service on behalf of other persons.

To me this means an online builder cannot submit your app to your play account on your behalf, you would have to download the apk and submit it yourself but the online app builder can submit your app to their play store account.

I would think that having a bespoke app developed by a freelanced / outsourced developer would not be included in this rule and the developer would be allowed to submit your app to your play store account.

Just be wary of hiring a developer who will then use an online app builder and then use that service to submit your app as this would be against this rule.

Easy way to stay safe, get the app apk and submit it yourself, if anybody complains then just point them to this rule:

Correct. Thanks for pointing this out, as i wasnt very clear.
Ive used a few which allow downloading of the app, and Submitting your self. Just didnt Cross my mind at the time, about the Online app builders submitting to their own.

Hey guys thanks for your feedback. I know were to outsource apps.

But my main issue is i've created a couple of information apps. But due to me not having a MAC i cant complete the final part of the submission process.

So just wanted to know what other sources are available for someone to assist it for you.

Fiverr is not as reliable as i thought.

From what I gather these are iOS apps?

I'd say your best bet would be oDesk if all you need is for them to be submitted. Probably only 1-2 hours work at most to sign certificates, set up provisioning profiles and upload to iTunes Connect. For a decent overseas developer you'd be looking at around $30-$50 an hour, or closer to $70 for someone from US/AU/UK. (You can set up diary screenshots for the work if you do hourly billing so you know what the contractor is doing and that s/he is not just outsourcing to Fiverr.)

The developer will need access to your iTunes Connect account to do it. If you have a company account, the developer just needs to be added to the account as a developer to access the backend Provisioning Portal. Or if you have an individual/sole trader account, they'll need your login details and can access everything on your account

I'd steer clear of Freelancer.

30-50 an hour is not bad. But the problem overall is that i can submit the whole thing on a scale without a problem. Issue is that, I cant always rely on my sources to use their MACS as it can annoy them after a while.

So always looking for alternatives besides using your friends and relatives MAC.

China is pretty good for programmers. Competitive prices, excellent skills, and language generally isn't an issue.

But if I was you... I'd just grab an entry level iMac/MBP. Peace of mind, convenience and all that

Nah can't use an iPad/Phone/Pod (iOS) to submit apps, you need Xcode and Application Loader and all that stuff, which are only on OS X
