I'm an app creator, not the developer. I'm in the process of working with a developer to create an ad supported version for my app. I've learn, through researching online, that you can maximize your monetization by having multiple ad networks in one app. I want ads that will benefit the user, without being annoying, and benefit me as well. My app is not a game and started with an average of 190 downloads a day. I've been looking at iAd, adColony, appBrain, adMob, and Greystrike. I like the idea of an ad network that promotes other apps for download like appBrain. For this kind of app, what ad network combinations do you guys recommend for iOS and Android versions to maximize revenue? Thank you. |

You're talking about cross-promotion networks, and if that's the case you should check out AppFlood and Chartboost. What types of ads did you have in mind? Interstitials, game lists, horizontal banner ads, or something else? Not all networks offer every single ad format and if you're looking to maximize revenue with a combo of ad networks you should really do your homework before you dip your toes in.

"I want ads that will benefit the user, without being annoying, and benefit me as well." Sorry, but I think you can't find this kind of ads. I use Leadbolt and Airpush and yes they are annoying, but this is the only way if you like to make some money. |

I'm new to this forum and I guess this counts as promoting. That being said our mobile ad units here at AdBlade appear within mobile content pages (mostly major local and national news sites), almost look like an article headline with an image attached. Non intrusive, but are effective for targeting android and ios users.

Instead of going for combination, I'd suggest you to go with individual ad network. Usage of more than one SDK may affect on the size of app.
