Mobile is growing that wildfire! It is the present and the future. Just take a look around at everybody from young to old glued to their cellphones. Heck, you'll even see people who can't walk across the street or even take a sh!t without glaring at, fiddling with or talking on their cellphones. It's like an extension of themselves now, literally. Now do you really have to wonder about what the benefits of targeting an addictive mobile crowd like this would be? Hint: MONEY, and LOTS of it!

It works when the product or service is mobile. It does not make sense for me to get ads info about my washer and dryer on my phone. Unless that is the only way GE feels they can reach me I guess. Obviously any mobile app should be be advertised to mobile devices. Its nothing new in advertising its just a different medium. Dont forget the basics people of choosing the correct medium for the correct audience and correct product,

There are many benefits to Mobile marketing. Over 65% of consumers have smartphones. The ability to develop a relationship with potential customers is amazing. The good thing is its cost effective as well. The same way you you capture emails, you can capture cell phone numbers sending out a broadcast to your ads, offers, etc. Mobile marketing will only continue to grow as well. As cell phones advance so will the technology. Imagine being able to connect with a customer for free with a simple free broadcast to thousands of customers. With email, you might have limits or data caps, or broadcast caps that simple do not exist with mobile phones. When they do order, you can keep your customers abreast of the date, time, and any other information pertaining to the order. This constant communication with mobile marketing is way better than email because those things can get lost in the spam folder or simply lost all together because we receive so many emails throughout the day. |
