Best way to monetize 200,000 unique mobile visitors per month

Hey WF,

I have a medium/large Twitter account (300k+ followers) and currently drive traffic to my site with Adsense on it. Looking to diversify right now and would love to hear your thoughts on some other monetization methods for mobile traffic.

Some stats:

1 million+ page views a month
200,000 UV a month
90% US/UK/CA traffic
80% mobile traffic

Definitely open to affiliate commission, e-mail signup commission, etc.

I'd pick a mobile CPA network (one that pays weekly works better for cashflow), then sending twits about some new free game apps (since twitter people are in social/leisure mode) or free utility apps (like browsers, chats, and whatnot).

You may wanna set up your mobile tracker though, so you will split your traffic depending mobile OS (IOS, Android, Windows), and countries, to show them proper offers depending where they come from. You can also gauge where the most volume is comming from, even down to specific device (iphone 5, galaxy, nokia lumia).

You may also use your own CPA banners on your site, So you will cut the middle man, between you and the advertisers (Google).

And if your site is not mobile optimized, you can use mobile instertitials or "appwalls" from mobile ad networks. They always pay more than banners, but are instrusive, so you gotta thread carefully, if you gonna keep adsense, Google may not like it.

I would grab a txt180 account and build an sms list around your niche!
