Hey Guys, I am a huge fan of txt 180 and I've used it for over 2 years to build an sms list for local businesses. My question is this, is there any other service that is possibly better than txt180? based on your experience. We are limited to 500 leads per month with the basic plan. Would like to increase to about 5,000

There's many options out there, a simple Google Search will pull up countless SMS providers. We recommend signing up for free trials through this various vendors to test out their platform.

Depends on if you want to pay for a service using Twillio or another, or use a free service like "Email to SMS" (you can see it on my site) at ferdiworks.com Chads plugin WP SMS Plugin w Voice Broadcasting is a good one, Gomobile has a good one, WP SMSWizard Plugin which just closed is a good one to. One thing to consider is what you want to do with it! |

Twilio and OpenVBX are cheap (and free), powerful options for voice and sms. The advantage is that you can build applications for the needs of your individual clients. If you use a service that they could easily find and use, you don't set yourself apart and don't provide any value to them. If they can sign up for the same service, why do they need you? Create custom solutions and you will set yourself apart and be able to charge much more than simply white labeling a service they could find and do themselves. |

I suggest you Twilio, due to its cheap sms rate and reliable services for sms messages and call.

When you say better than txt180. Are you looking for more features, a better price? If you have been happy with them over the last 2 years why change?

I am partner with a company that not only have a good sms sevice, but also a platform offering a complete Mobile List-Building System and social Media Content Strategy system. The best of it is that they have an affiliate system in place offering 100% commissions. If you are interested you can pm me for more details |

No, not at first. Send out campaigns for them for awhile, and if they are really sharp and can create good offers, you can set up your openvbx flows so that they can send out broadcasts from their cell phone. So they never have to "log in" to anything or deal with Twilio at all. But use your own judgement on that for sure. I have some clients that I would never let them do it themselves, and others that are good at creating and sending 1-2 times per month. Just depends on the client. | |

As people have stated already, it largely depends on what you want to accomplish. There are many SMS resellers (most of them), but only a few that are the core providers. txtwire is one of the core providers and have a robust platform with many features, including social media integration. They are also able to scale with you according to your needs. Twilio and Trumpia are other services that supposedly are good, but I must admit I have been more impressed with the customer support at txtwire than any other company I have contacted.
