Is there a report or instructions how to make and submit sitemaps of mobile sites? I am told it is different that regular sites. Also is there a list of mobile web directories to submit sites to? Would greatly appreciate help. Thanks |

The only difference that I know of is that you need to add a namespace to the urlset declaration and then a <mobile:mobile /> tag for each mobile URL. More info directly from Google at https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/34648?hl=en |

If your website uses e.g. response or adaptive layouts so the same URLs work across all devices, there is no need to create a separate mobile sitemap. You may also want to check this article for more information about mobile sitemaps: Create Mobile Sitemaps with XML Sitemap Generator |

Responsive design sites is your best bet, because they have one URL and the same HTML regardless of device, which makes it easier and more efficient for Google to crawl, Index and organize content. Google Also prefers responsive web design because content that lives on one website and one URL is much easier for users to share, interact with, and link to than content that lives on a separate mobile site. |
