Mobile Ads Redirecting to the App Store
Share on:

I'm noticing more and more ads that take me directly to App Store or to Google Play, regardless that I didn't click on the creativ. If I wanted to promote my own app this way, what would I have to do?

Hi, I am a programmer and I write mobile apps for marketing but I believe that it is a violation of both AdMob and Amazon Ads Terms of Service to re-direct a user to a site. I know in my mobile apps I have taken great care to make sure that users can't accidentally click on a button. While it is easy to do what you describe I don't recommend doing it because it can get your account closed. Don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further help. Bill

Hi Bill,

I am new to this forum and mobile apps and have been searching all over to find answers and this is the best post I could find. I was wondering if you could give me a bit of advice?

I have just created my first app (I didn't code it though) and it is for sale on Google Play, iTunes, and Amazon. I am looking to offer some in-app purchases for the 2nd version. Are there any websites that you can recommend I look at to see how this is done and how not to violate the terms of service for the above platforms?

For instance, I created an app in the College prep/admissions space and I want to offer users of my app a few products and my services. I am a school counselor with experience in preparing students for the college application process. Could I offer these services as an in-app purchase? Can I offer a clickbank product or two?

Any advice or recommendations would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Chris
