I have two newbie questions , I have recently started using Buzzcity.com and Mobpartner.com as my affiliate networks.

1. what happens when buzzcity tells I had 500 clicks while mobpartners says there was only 220?
2. why does I see from Mobpartner that I had traffic from Android although I did not check the android box?

Listen , this is really annoying.... I have Symbian Conversion while I checked only JAVA MIDP ... I have android and Symbian Clicks while I am not intersted In them!!!

what the hell is going on?


any chance there is time difference so big between mobpartner and buzzcity so the uncheck of symbian needs atleast 24hours to take place?

1. You may see click discrepancies in your campaign reports, its not uncommon and can be caused by a number of reasons. For example it can be that your Ad is clicked but the signal may have dropped or connection slowed down considerably resulting in the landing page failing to load in the users browser.

The click is recorded on the originating Ad Networks side and you are of course charged for it but you have no record on the click on your end since the user never arrived.

It can also be differences in reporting metrics, the way traffic is validated, time zones, etc.

2. Getting traffic from different Platforms and even Geos is not uncommon either, because no provider has 100% accurate targeting. If the volume of traffic you received from these un-targeted platforms is significant request a refund from the traffic source and show your reports as proof. If youre using a quality tracking platform like imobitrax you are able to redirect this untargeted traffic to matching offers.
