Hello everybody.... I am marketing affiliation of apps for a month .. and I could not find an answeres for any of the mentioned questions : 1. I have noticed the while you highlight / check "JAVA MIDP" On Buzzcity , you still get some clicks from android and blackberry (ALOT OF CLICKS) - I figured that JAVA MIDP is an browser or an application the phones has .. do I have any way to control it for my optimization? I get android clicks that I dont need! 2. I have some days that I get 3 downloads and some days that I get 0 ... how can I make profits if this is not constantly facts? 3. On mobpartner I see that all countires has "OTHERS" marks on the Operator/carrer... I cannot do optimization if the transcation (download) is from "Others" , if I want to publish to others I need to publish for all Carries .. thats making my chance of optimization into even lower chances - how the hell is this profitable? 4. sometimes my bid is too low (0.01) so I dont get any clicks .. but whenever I try to raise the bid by 0.01 untill I get some clicks .. the cost per click is so high that I am not making any profits again .. In Chile , not so expensive country I spend 0.03 per click but never get EPC of more than 0.03 .. it happened to me in 20 campaigns - so how is this profitable? 5. lets say I have optmized a campaign sucuessfully .. whenever I pick the releveant most sucuesfull Operators/carrries .. I dont get clicks becuase I assume some OTHER affiliators already figured those facts of optimization and now they're my rivals so I cannot make any more profit since the bids will be too high untill I will overbid them... could anyone please help me ? how does pepople are making money from this niche? this is almost impossible! I can pay per hour for somebody that can explain me those questions... thank you so much for your time |

It is not uncommon to get mobile traffic from non targeted devices and countries. If its a significant amount of clicks contact your ad network support for a refund/credit. Are you using a 3rd party mobile tracking platform such as imobitrax? What type of app are you running, which niche? What is the offer payout and your daily ad spend for each campaign? How many banners and landing pages are you running in each campaign? |

The fast answer in your case is to get out of the Pay Per Click scenario and look for other avenues of traffic.

that does not worth the money (on buzzcity) I am using Buzzcity... I am using Mobpartner... I have just checked right now and Instead of a payout of 0.036$ I get 0.018$ just becuase I get wrong traffic!!!! I think that becuase I use Java MIDP I might get a wrong traffic BUT why do I get from other OPS? I asked for Zain carrier and I get from Uminah,Orange,Others etc what the hell is going on here ? I use only 2 banners and Now I choose only 1 .. Please guys can you help me? | |

Normally, third party trackings allow you to get some parameters from the download, such as the "device id" and some other parameters that allow you to see if the conversion is real or is a fake conversion. Also, they allow you to see if clicks come from the correct device, country, carrier... It has to be mentioned, that this should be necessary in case you are working on CPI/CPA basis. In case you are willing to continue working on CPC basis, this won't aid you more... |

another question - if I have 1500 clicks from Channel X - that gives me 15 conversions and 1300 clicks from channel Y - that gives me 5 conversions they are all profitable .. should I optimize only to channel X ? this will give me higher conversion rates but lower my profit , or am I wrong? | |

Start by optimizing the Chanel X one, then, when it seems it is optimized, you could move into Channel Y. As both are profitable, you could let the Channel Y as how it is at the moment and focus on the first one. The profit doesn't need to be lower, if you are interested in conversions, as you are supposed to increase the conversion rates by optimizing the campaign. |

another question - I have noticed that I can get only 30 clicks from my campaign - no matter what bid I put .. and if I put few campaigns , 0.01,0.011,0.12,0.13 - I get 4 X 30 .. how does it make sense? isnt the higher bids should get higher exposures(clicks)?? also , how can I expand my clicks? lets say I make 0.04 .. while investing 0.01 .. I want more clicks .. should I try another ad network? I have signed into leadbolt but did not recieve any clicks for a weird reason... | |

Normally, a higher bid means more clicks, but you should also take into account that if the network you are working with have, let's say 1000 impressions per day in the geo you are promoting, notice that if your competitors are biding higher and there are always appearing new competitors your bid may get lower than the rest, and receive just few impressions and clicks. As a personal advice, please, talk to the account manager of the network to see how you could optimize more this offer, and also try new networks. The more networks you work with, the more traffic you'll generate. | |

Get a Good Traffic monitoring application and check the browsers you are getting this Traffic from In case its Opera or UC etc. Ask them to Remove this Traffic or Send that Traffic to some other Campaign. 2. Banners ( call to action) Seems to be not working at all so Appoint a good Designer And spend some money on creative atleast with some good options. 2. Get a Expert to make the landing pages. atleast 4 Landing pages. ( Different concept and inter-active with call to action. 3. Get a Good application to Manage the Traffic and monitor the traffic. 4. Split your Traffic between the landing pages. See which gives you better ctr ( Limit test budget Min- 50 $ 10 $ is too small a Budget). 5. What does well keep them and replace non performing banners and Landing pages with new ones. 6. Make sure to keep making good banners and landing pages on weekly bases atleast. 7. Note: Its a Bidding market in order to get traffic you will have to big higher what you can control is your CTR with the points I listed on point 2. So the campaign creative optimization etc is in your hand try to get better CTR and Bid higher things will work. 5. lets say I have optmized a campaign sucuessfully .. whenever I pick the releveant most sucuesfull Operators/carrries .. There is no shortcut. You will have to experiment with Creative Landing pages and Campaigns to make profit. It would be great to share Campaign Data in terms of impression bids and CTR i am sure you will be able to find the answer there. best of luck and dont lose hope if others can so can you its Easy just be creative and Smart you will see the $ flowing . |

Hello there , firstly - let me thank you so much for answering and helping others! really .. thanks ALOT! 1. about the " OTHERS" , sometimes I get transcations from " Others " Carrier (as it shown on mobpartner) instead of a name of a carrier / Operator - I see " Others " - those cannot be optimized since I cannot " check/mark " them - right? 2. as for the banners and landing pages - is that so matters ? I mean , is this where the advanced affiliators have the advantage on beginners? 3. any chance you can give me some tools / links I can use for creating the landing pages? I mean , lets say I am not into HTML or Proggraming .. how can I create a landing page? it contains links etc 4. somebody has given me a link for banner creating , it was amazing and easy site - can you recommend more of those? 5. do you know any FREE tracking 3rd party tracker? 6. I have tried to expand my traffic Among Asia on a sucessfull campaign I had and joined Leadbolt , after so many hours of trying to figure why I dont get any clicks - my accout manager has told me that they are not supporting Asia so much and dont have barely traffic from there - this is a SHAME to leadbolt , do you have any alternative? 7. there is ANY forum among the net that shares case studies of real campaigns? thank you so much my friend!! really , to all of you! please answer. |
