Has anyone used MoBuzz Platform?
Share on:

I like the look of the Mobuzz platform for the SMS and mobile websites.

My worry is that if I sign up customers for SMS, and then Mobuzz suddenly one day disappear, I would be left with very unhappy customers that I cannot service.

I mean no offence to anyone, I just wondered if any warriors had any experience with them.

Here was my experience with Mobuzz:

Signed up because I was saving so much over Lime's costs. Used service for a year and he didn't provide the training he advertised. It was pretty much a on-your-own situation. Even when I had problems with the Lime account I could not contact Lime for assistance because I have a "sub" account with Mobuzz. When contacting him he wouldn't ever answer so I figured out how to make everything work myself.

Year #2 came around and now I know how to use Lime and as long as the account remains open, I'm good to go. But after my annual renewal fee had been charged through Paypal, his Lime account has been cancelled. Be warned anyone else who has their annual charge coming up, but of course you've probably noticed your accounts are all shut down because his account has been shut down.

I have texted, called and emailed him for clarification before I assumed the worst, now I get to go through the Paypal dispute process. His Lime account was suspended in March 2015.

So I did a little research and couldn't find 1 employee on LinkedIn that worked at Mobuzz.

If you're going to start a business around mobile, do it with an ACTUAL business with EMPLOYEES whose job is to help you succeed. There are so many mobile platforms out there but just do a simple search of their company size and it will be you some insight into their success.

If they have a decent sized team, they're probably doing something right. If you can't find a single employee, it's probably a scam IMO.

I resell mobile apps for a company called Bizness Apps. Not affiliated at all, just a fan and supporter.

Sadly, this is a continuing issue for marketers. Do you resell someone else's platform with the risk of them shutting their doors and leaving you hanging. Many here won't use a platform unless it can be self hosted. Best of luck to you guys who got screwed by this guy.
