Sending incentive traffic to a non-incentive offer
Share on:

Hello everyone.

I guess everyone have thought about it once in his mind, "can I send incentive traffic to a non-incentive offer without letting them know?" well that's what I'm asking my self now.
I know immoral even illegal but discusting about it is legal, and if you wonder I won't really do that i'm just curious.

Well we send our traffic or by media buying or by our own app/site, so let's split it.

1. Media buying.
Sending incent traffic from an incent traffic source will produce very high conversion rate, but if you mix that with a non-incetive traffic source with bad results it's possible to reach a low or normal conversion rate.
What do you think?

2. Organic traffic(is that the right expression?)
How would they find out that I'm sending incentive traffic from my app? it's not them I'm sending traffic from a well known incetive traffic source.

Thanks in advanced, and I'm sure that some people won't like the thread but I think that it might even help to the app owners / cpa networkds to track this kind of affiliates.
If you want to stop them you better know how they do it.

Obviously, don't do it. You'll get your account shut down.

I've been on companies where this was done. I mean, we sent some incent traffic undervcovered on non incent traffic, but, everytime this happened we got caught.

As per my experience, don't do it. You'll be caught and will loose clients.

Well, things can be different. It all depends of your approach to the incent traffic. I mean, if you will understand the target audience, if you find a way to send the offer to the people from all over the world, if you can limit the volumes per day, mixing the incent and non-incent traffic, than you might be OK. Even more, imagine if someone offers you to get a car and pays you to drive it at least once. If it is good car, why wouldn't you keep driving it with even more pleasure?

Depends which advertiser you are doing it for and whether the advertiser can track LTV.

From my experience mixing incent with non incent in small ratios works fine, but dont do it for a premium advertiser like a Zynga , Supercell or others.
