Firstly Hi, im new here. I have mobile traffic mainly from apps. I can generate 20K impressions per day with relatively high CTR ranging from 1.2 to 5% depending on the ad shown. (this is for my own ads and when people buy impressions from me) When sold impressions are used up I use Google ads to fill in the spaces. The problem with google ads is you cant specify keywords and the ads shown sometimes are so unrelated to my audience. I want to show ads for say apps, tech, mobiles, games, music etc... tht i know will have high CTR. So i want to know what is the best way for me to monetize this traffic. I want something better so am looking for over $50 per day. Ive tried several affiliate schemes but they dont seem to convert. (oh except for admob i cant use any third party SDK, only HTML/javascript/HTML5 and URl based) |

Have you tried rotating in your own custom banners through AdMob? You have the ability to create your own banners and rotate a percentage of those through. In fact you could make your custom banners 100%. Check out some high earning CPA offers. I have had success with MaxBounty and PeerFly offers and in fact PeerFly recently introduced that all of their offers are redirected to mobile optimized landing pages when coming from mobile devices. |

Adsense has never worked for me, so I'm not surprised that you are not content with what you are earning. AUKev has given some great suggestions. Try them and stick to whichever one that increases your earnings.

If the website or the application what you have, has Google Analytics set up,then it is easy to find that how much traffic you got from your mobile device. You can easily find what types of bounce rate has been there in your app and you can smoothly check the average visit duration also. For monetization,Google AdSense which says about your mobile traffic turned into display advertising revenue from that you can see how much click rate you did have.

Admobs has low ad revenue. Though the Ad fill rate is quite high but the eCPM is really low which makes it a bit difficult to earn from admobs. Instead use some other SDK that have better eCPM.

I'd like to add that CPA offers might be a good way to monetize traffic from mobile devices. Have you tried them?
