Hey there everyone, I am a relatively new face to the IM community and I am looking to build a solid mobile app and website business for small businesses. How exactly do I get started (which app/wbsite builders, ect) and how can I monetize this business later on so I am not spending so much time cranking out apps/websites. I know the question is a bit vague, but I am just trying to get a starting point down so I can move forward. |

Honestly it depends what kind of business you're starting. If you don't need a heavy online presence then a mobile app might not be neccessary and you should be able ot get away with a wordpress website. If you plan to start a news site, or some sort of blog, then an app may be a good idea. There are tons of app templates for both Android & iPhone available that integrate perfectly with wordpress and are very cost effective. You'll have to check codecanyon or chupamobile for these

There are many surveys and reports proved that mobile app helps in an effective way to increase site or store traffic and helps to improve the sales of the business. For example: According to a survey, more than 56% of American shoppers said that they made a purchase as a direct result of an email they received on their mobile. And those who shop on mobile devices make 21% more purchases than the average shopper. The 2013 Maritz Loyalty Report US Edition found that 91 percent of Smartphone users are wishing to download a loyalty program’s application. |

What kind of small business are you creating an app for? The #1 mistake I see with people creating apps for businesses is simply creating apps as billboards, you want to make sure to include useful functionality that your customers will use more than once. This is key, otherwise your app will be deleted instantly by people. Make sure to have at least one useful feature to increase business and see an ROI!

I resell mobile apps for a company called Bizness Apps. Not affiliated at all, just a fan and supporter.

PM me as I am testing an UI Mobile Development tool. Do your homework by researching the authority in your industry. For example I specialize in Growth Hacking to help Start - Ups to get Users. I also have a nice upsell in UI Mobile App. I also do Mobile Marketing and Lead Generations which is my primary. A guy that I know gave me a really good advice and it totally makes sense - sometime reverse engineering the process will help you get an edge on your competition when starting out because you are thinking what can I do better to improve this and that. The $1k Per Day giving away FRee Mobile Sites offer that I have seen WSO is nice and it looks like a plug and play platform but it seems like so many vet warriors are saying it best to learn yourself so you can outsource accordingly and have a skill sets that is priceless in the 21st Century. However with a limit budget and start-up, your first focus is creating an prototype app that does exactly what you want to do it for your future client. I bet you could reach out to 5 to 10 business owners and ask them if they want an app for their business that. 1 out of 4 would have a need for it and all you could do should them a prototype with a few stuff on it that is based on their business. Boom instant product. But small business owners will grow with you if you over deliver for them. Just research exactly what you see the problem is and find the solution and you should be able to assist your client. Great niche that you pick btw. Again If you need a good UI tool PM me I found one that I am using for my Landers. | |
