    Why will this never happen. Unless these machines and software free us ALL up and have our cares, food, housing, needs and give a good standard of living so we don't have to work then great. If not the backlash would be tremendous. Society would break down/

    It would lead to the have and the have not's even more pronounced. You think society would tolerate that?

    Having this stuff is great but it has to free us up completely to work.

      Going to Maccers, and ordering with a machine, hmmm, don't know, if it is anything like the stupid self-serve machines we have at the Coles checkouts, then l am not crazy about the idea!

      They recently undated their stupid checkouts, to apparently make them worse!

      Now, we have a few more dumb unnecessary buttons to press, grrrrrr!

      Not to mention the dumb machine saying, "please take your order"!

    Theyhave NOT been grading test, AT ALL!!!!!!!! They NEVER HAVE! What they did was detect spots created JUST FOR THEM TO READ, and adding up the values associated with those spots.

    The computers do NOT know the question, or what the value means, etc.... So they NEVER graded the test.

    A computer grading essays and unstructured tests is MORONIC! It is just IDIOTIC! There is NO way for a computer to know cadence, rhyme, or make logical sense of the text.

    A LOT of work WILL be automated though. Ideally, Most education, most medical tests, most medical diagnosis,most labor of all kinds, etc... will be AUTOMATED! They could be a DECADE ago! Look at toll booths! IDIOTIC! I used a tag that was valid in like 3 states. If they had all drivers use it, they would need NO funnel, NO booths, NO paper, and NO PEOPLE! It would be BETTER if it were valid in ALL states.

    To all of the brilliant business owners who think that shipping the jobs out of this country or importing cheap labor on work visas or converting jobs to automation, I wonder who will buy their shit when everyone is poor except for them.
