My Google drive is about to explode I have so many notes in there. I tend to use almost all the files and folders through out the week or month though. Seems like now 90% of my development is taking down notes, documenting my every step, and reading. Anyone else experience this? Is this just part of it or am I going overboard? I have a bad memory though so maybe the notes are important..

You may want to have a look at Evernote.

You may want to get a VA to help you get organized.

I find that excess note taking can become an obsession and take on addiction-like qualities. Look at how many people have been taught that goals need to be written down, then they spend so much time writing and revising lists that they don't have enough left over to accomplish anything.

If your 'note-taking" is taking time away from your creation process, yes, you're over doing it.
