Here, is one of the annoying ^&&* that keeps coming up on the WF and elsewhere!

The other one is some bogus survey claiming that you have won something!

I am pretty sure some scammer is using the sites text to say, Graphicriver or FireFox or here is doing it!

I have pushed up my popup blocker another notch and fiddled with Norton and that has blocked it, but it might still come up!

I know one thing that it is seriously p**** me off, so is anyone else experiencing this crap or is it just me?

I clicked it and didn't get anything, but I run Noscript and Ghostery, so a lot of stuff is blocked.

I'd report this to Alaister or the Help Desk. They are interested in preventing things like this if indeed the WF is involved somehow and it's not just your system.

Arrr, l tried it also, and it just goes to Google.

Odd's on its a scammy link! I could contact support, but they most likely have seen this by now?

The site at the top of the scammy link is probably legit, it is just part of the scammers CPA affiliate link!

Hopefully the WF tech, division can block this crap?

YEAH! A word of advice! If you allow third party popups, or banners, you should read them and store them WITHOUT SCRIPTING! If you fail to do that, then scripting can interfere with *****YOUR***** site, and there could be repercussions.

I don't say this lightly. It CAN affect, and ****HAS**** affected, the WF. Let's not forget how such code was recently run through the WF, and it even got a note in google as being a possibly malicious site.

No, l haven't really go to my sites lately, and as far as l know they are fine, it is my browser, here and Graphicriver that have this additional crap rising to the surface.

It seemed to start after Regclean Pro, bought up some message which l clicked no to, and then Norton said all hell would happen if l used it!

So after hours of crapping around, l finally got it to behave with Norton!

I am also noticing certain sites disappearing across Googles search engine. Maybe they are on a rampage for dodgy sites?

Although l can't see how a site that gives a list of free email providers or the providers themselves that would constitute dodgy?

But after restarting, it seems to be gone, hopefully for good?

    Tagiscom,

I was speaking generally. It sounds like you were the victim of a trojan or something.
There are a number of sites doing things like providing drivers, or even reg cleaners, that try to trick you into downloading other software and/or give software that, BY DEFAULT, gives you a lot of stupid things, like special proxies that corrupt pages with ads and their own definitions.

But sites that have malicious code, or allow 3rd parties to do so(which is what I was talking about preventing), WILL make ANY type of site "DODGY"!
