As Stupid as Stupid gets...........

MAN, that IS dumb! You NEVER know what is going to happen in such a case! I feel sorry for the mother. I hope she, and her boy, can recover, and don't let this change their attitude. The knife MIGHT have been real, and she MIGHT have saved her son. We will never know. The guy, being so STUPID, might have been ready to kill him. There HAVE been cases of people killing others, and themselves, as a JOKE! They always say like "I didn't know it was loaded", or "I didn't know it was real", etc... I even heard of one guy that, as a joke, killed himself! The problem? He shot a blank and didn't realize that, at point blank range, it could be deadly. And similar things have happened with knives.

And the "friend" waiting an HOUR to make a call, and saying things GUARANTEED to DELAY the call, and not saying ANYTHING helpful? With a fatal wound, SECONDS can make a difference, and you can tell from the get go he is going to WASTE at least minutes. He could have simply said "My friend is beside me, he's been shot. Please get the ambulance here ASAP". Just THAT could have gotten him help in less time. MOST of the time, they could send the ambulance out RIGHT THEN, without even an address. EVEN with a cell phone!
