I am on Niall's email list. He's one of those travel-around-the-world make-money-online guys. Every couple of weeks he emails his Momentos.

I found this interesting.

My Danish flatmate plays online poker for a living, up to eight tables at a time!

For November 8th,

8.

Giant. I like his style. Whether we're walking down the street, through the supermarket, or across the bar, he'll throw out a calm and confident, "Hola, cómo estás?", to any girl who takes his fancy. Depending on the response, he might stop and interact a bit more. Makes me realize how simple the game can be; complications mostly in my head.
Pretty interesting and worth a look.

    These players are "grinders".

They stay for the flop only on real, qualifying hands of impeccable strength.

    They're very difficult to beat.

Some of them play as many as 16 tables at a time. It's quite a lot easier to do than it sounds: they use "HUD's" (heads-up displays) giving them details of many of their habitual opponents. They're usually actively "involved in a hand" on only a very small proportion of tables simultaneously, because they fold everything without real pot-winning chances.

When they bluff, it's typically for "advertising" (i.e. not bluffing to try to win a pot to which they're not "entitled", but in order for other players to see that they do sometimes bluff, so that people stay with them when they really do have a big hand). As a result, they don't win a lot of pots, but they can win a lot of money.
