I might dig around in the couch and use the loose change I collect to put in a bid.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

MAN! WHO writes these things! The article says that they shouldn't have a problem finding a person to rent the $400million apartment, because 30% of monacos residents are millionares. THAT is like saying that a place at skidrow is renting for $600/month, but they shouldn't have problems, because 60% of the people are DIRT POOR! NO millionare would rent this apartment, because they aren't rich enough.

It isn't for rent. It's for sale. I put my application in already, so you snooze, you lose.

Oh well, even for SALE, TOO EXPENSIVE for millionares. Even with a 30 year mortgage, that is over like $15,000,000 a year

I honestly can't think why you'd have all that money and want to use it to live on top of a load of other people, apart from perhaps security. A luxury home of your own set in acres of land with views of the coast to the front, views of the countryside to the back and nice neighbours just as far away as you want them on either side would be more like it.

Oh, well. Done dreaming - back to work

That one's always been a puzzle to me, too. Give me a hobbit house and several hundred forested acres in the mountains. That's paradise.

I think this would be a trophy apartment. Anyone who can afford that probably has multiple homes around the world.

Something like this really should not be called an apartment. That word just doesn't fit for real estate selling for $400 million. And it's misleading, here in the US at least, because people rent apartments.

And amazingly, the owner of this place has to share the gym, it's communal. The apartment comes with a disco. Disco? OK, whatever.

The bedroom shown looks way too sterile for me.

As an aside, I've been to Monaco very many years ago. I was just out of the service and backpacking around Europe. Staying in youth hostels and definitely not fitting in with all the wealthy folks I saw there. But it was still a cool experience.
