Hiker in NJ takes photos of bear who kills him

A group of hikers were warned there was a bear in the area. The continued into the trees anyway, and it didn't end well for one.

    Then they kill the bear. Can't have an animal acting like an animal, now can we? And -- we can't expect people who want off the sidewalk to know WTF wildlife is and how to act around it now, either. This makes me furious.

      Yes, he should have played Justin Bieber on his mobile phone, could have saved his life!

      But in all honesty l wouldn't go anywhere near one of things without a gun!

      To scare it away, and use it as a last resort.

      This reminds me of the story of some hikers who pitched a tent in a park in Canada, the bear saw the shadows created by the light in the tent at dark, got confused, and attacked.

      Maybe these morons should be forced to watch Jurassic Park before entering a park with bears. They might realize if they put their hand out in friendship they might lose it!
