Is there a kinetic display that is almost as good as a regular monitor?

My eyes are hurting from looking at a traditional computer monitor all the time.
I need a display that doesn't use light, but rather colored blocks or squares.
You know, like have you seen documentaries about North Korea, and thousands of people are in a stadium holding cards, and on cue they flip the cards to form an image?
I wish they had monitors like that... something that doesnt use light

Am I making any sense?

You're in the Off Topic forum. Sense is the last thing you need to make down here.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

They USED to have "digital" clocks that worked like that, but I doubt they do NOW. LCD displays TECHNICALLY work the same way though! They have VERY tiny elements to replace the cards, and a current comes through on a matrix to bend it and diffract light, many of those build up the pictures. LEDs have elements that may be different colors, and a current effectively comes through on a matrix to CREATE light. So IT is the same kind of concept, but creates, rather than diffractsm light. But given the technology and market, I doubt you will find the kind of cards you describe.
