Yeah, theoretical physics has a million ideas about a million things. But almost no real proof to support any of it. They just put out radical theories in the hope NASA or some such will give them millions to prove it.

WC covered it. According to the multiverse theory, likely MANY alternate universes have Elvis alive. MANY of them do NOT have elvis as a singer. And MANY have him as another type of singer or in another language.

And let's not forget the German 99 luftballoons! In GERMAN, it is a story from a woman to her beau as he goes up in a fighter jet. It admonishes against war and loss and pleas for reason and a lack of ego. The English version is a cute story about kids playing war in a toy store.

But still, from the story I heard of elvis, his fame was created because of a last minute decision to use what was a fleeting novelty, and the trips that it ended up taking. Had he not gone there, or had gone a few years later or earlier, etc.... Elvis might have been something very different, he may even have remained a TRUCK DRIVER! WHO KNOWS?

Must have been a slow news day at BBC. This isn't new theory. Physicists have been working on this one for around 30 years. It's been studied seriously since the advent of string theory. How many times have I talked about "bleed" from another dimension? Same idea, different sourcing.
