I've now tried to post twice and both posts have been removed. The first had a link to an event I'm hosting - which didn't appear against the terms. But, I figured I stepped over the bounds somewhere....

So, the second post was a question about where to post events that are of general interest to the group... it got deleted too.

Is this common? Is there a better way to engage with the group? I thought asking a question would be the right move.

Thanks!

Perhaps seen as "promotional"? (I'm guessing.)

Less sure about that one. But if it mentioned a previously deleted post, it could possibly have been removed because it's "not done" to ask about why posts were deleted. (I may be guessing wrongly!).

Paragraph 5 of this post may interest you (though I'm afraid it won't really help you): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...bers-read.html

As I recall about the rules:

Yeah, a self promotional link, is Only allowed in the sig, that you get after 50 VALID non OT posts.

Some such questions are probably not allowed.

Bradley, I didn't see your posts that you made, but posting links to an event is not allowed because it's something that's been abused in the past. It's also a type of self-promotion that's not allowed outside of promoting something in your signature.

There really isn't a place to post events in this forum. You can put them in your signature file as long as they comply with the signature rules.

You can start a mastermind group in the mastermind forum and can possibly promote it there, but again, it has to adhere to the rules of that sub-forum and, quite frankly, I haven't been in the Mastermind forum in such a long time the rules in there may have changed.

    I hope this helps.
