Was banned for a week, a week that saw me struck my lightning! Yes lightning strike took out my PC and gave me a good blast through the mouse I was holding.

Can we hope that shocked some sense into you?

You've had a short warning ban - then a longer one for repeating your mistakes....might want to clean up your act as the bans get longer each time.

Welcome back - now be a good kid...ok?

Joseph, I've been hearing some disturbing things about you. That you're a vacuum cleaner salesman?
I always imagined u for a used car salesman. Yep. Something like 'Honest Bald Joe's Used Cars! Less hair you have, bigger the discount!'

            I know you are joking.

But when I first told my wife's family (soon after I met her) that I sold vacuum cleaners for a living, they were unanimous that it was a bad thing. Not respectable. Not upwardly mobile. In other words, their sister could do better. They couldn't quite put their finger on it, but they knew what I did must be a scam. Sales? Couldn't I find a real job? They would ask in nice ways, but even well meaning people can look down on what you do.

They are all very kind, wonderful people with college degrees......and strong family values. Meaning...not me.

When my sister-in-law (who, with her husband owned a college in California) said to me "So, you're a vacuum cleaner salesman, eh?' (and she said it like it was nothing)..

I said "No. I'm a great vacuum cleaner salesman. Perhaps the greatest."

And now, 26 years later, we own the nicest home in the family, and I make the most money. In fact...when we were going to sign the papers for this home, I asked my wife "Are you sure this will be nicer than your sister and brother's homes?" I was only half kidding.

All the family holiday meals are here. Why? Nicest home.

Is it revenge? Not really. But now, nobody jokes about being just a vacuum cleaner salesman. No matter what you do, if you're the best at it, your future is going to be pretty bright.

Some day, I hope you know the feeling of quiet pride in what you do, and the rewards it brings.

This post is from Claude's wife. Her name...I mean my name is Cheryl.

My wonderful husband first attracted me, because he is soooo handsome. In fact, far more handsome than Dan Riffle.

And then I realized how funny he is. The wittiest man that I've ever met. Why you guys make fun of him, I don't know.

I think you are lucky to know him...Claude...my husband. I know, I thank my lucky stars to have met someone of Claude's quality. His humility, and selflessness are legendary. His ability to forge a post in my name...is mythic.

I just can't wait to make love to him again...just like we do four..I mean five times a day. Every day.

                  What a man...a Manly man......

                  Yours Truly.

, perhaps your being here is a means for you to learn a life lesson that will give you new direction; to learn proper etiquette which would be a very good thing for you. There are many good examples here for you to follow and then, some not so good ones. I wish you the wisdom to know which is which.

Well hello there (Fake) Cheryl, its nice to meet you. I must say your quite articulate for a blow up doll, much more so than his other one, Candy the Tranny.

I feel I should rephrase the question...

Cheryl, what first attracted you to the Master Hypnotist, Claude Whitacre?

PS. Next time he inflates you, please tell him that many other people think his house is the best in the trailer park.

Okay - now you're talking about my family. Only you're the store owner so you'd be okay. My family's attitude toward sales people is one of the reasons I still get hives if I even so much as think of selling anything.

Somehow I think that being the best at bragging about your muscles and weightlifting, in addition to being the best at surreptitiously placing a Rambo knife on your balcony, is no guarantee of a "pretty bright future".

Well, considering the muscle and weighlifting without the knife -- tell that to Jack Lalane. He kinda made a fortune advocating working out and showing off how well it worked for him. I would agree that there seems to be some approach modification due in this case, however.

I think you are just trying to build up some street creds in here. Next time, forgo the lightning strike and just stick a fork in the electric outlet. It will do the same thing.

Dang, how close did the lightning hit and I do hope you weren't injured. One of the guys playing golf around here basically got vaporized by a massive bolt right on the course. After the fact, the course put in warning sirens to get to shelter before someone got killed again.

Dan, that definitely sounds like a good reason. I hadn't noticed the link. He frequently mocked different groups of people that he clearly holds in disdain. Disgust and hate are often only thinly veiled in "humorous" comments, and I think that's what keeps getting him into so much trouble on all these forums. That, and I think he enjoys being controversial. Unfortunately, he either can't seem to learn from his mistakes, or doesn't care to make the effort.

Pink has always been considered a strong color.

Yes, true, l got into pink in a big way on Graphicriver, and still dabble in it now and then.

It doesn't mean l am this or that, just that l find it an interesting color to use in designs, and it sells reasonably well!

But l wouldn't go out in public with a pink T-shirt, too much of a hassle having everyman in the area looking at me, thinking obvious thoughts. And women ignoring me, not good!

WC here are some tips, for next time!

      • Don't put your chest in your avatar image, might be pushing it?

      • Don't go on the attack with certain members here, (pushing your luck).

      • Don't tell us how many other social media sites have clobbered you, (it must make the Mod,s here, nervous)?

Might help a lot next time?

Yes, could be, but making a list of hates and then clobbering certain individuals here, is risky at best!

The individuals might take it positively but rules are rules.

Sounds like WC should go and read all the rules for this forum and others, or if he can't bite his tongue, set up his own forum?

No doubt that forum will be trolled to death, inbetween full scale arguments, and possibly some death threats, but he would have control over it or that?

I have seen arguments on other forums with slack mods, that are pretty bad, well funny and bad, and disturbing and ugly?

It was a little more complicated and more derogatory than that, but yeah...

It's the feminist way of saying, "I'm a strong, independent woman and I have no need for a man."

Let me suggest that someone who views relationships as fulfilling a "need" is neither strong nor independent.

You are, in fact, correct, Joe. Lazy execution on my part. The statement should have been, "I am a strong, independent woman and I have no use for a man."

It is. It really is. As a pink lover, myself, I find it extremely funny the reactions I get when meeting some of the guys from my site out in a very treacherous part of the wilderness for some hard core driving and hunting, I show up wearing a very feminine hot pink. It makes their heads go RCA dog head tilt. I love juxtapositioning. LOL.

The notion that pink is for girls and blue is for boys seems to have been enshrined in our culture for centuries, but in fact that's only been the case for a relatively short time.

Until the end of the nineteenth century, babies' clothing had been mainly gender neutral (white) but when colored fabrics started to gain popularity, it was generally the rule that pink was for boys, and blue for girls.

This is from a June 1918 article from the trade publication Earnshaw's Infants' Department:
"The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl." Other sources said blue was flattering for blonds, pink for brunettes; or blue was for blue-eyed babies, pink for brown-eyed babies.
It was only during the 1940s that the color dictates were reversed, largely due to the preferences of American buyers who influenced the manufacturers and retailers.

Source: History, Travel, Arts, Science, People, Places | Smithsonian

Dammit, biz, that shirt is salmon, not pink.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

I corrected that for you Biz. Sorry to be a grammar Nazi but somehow you'd accidentally added the word 'shirt' in there.

he he he - It's so tempting to drop the word 'grammar' from your post.

I would say we could help him a lot, at least in a community form or worldwide club or even support group.

Well that is if he can learn to fit in, or stay within forum rules?

Small price to pay for a supportive, caring forum? Well overall!

I missed that, too. If WC truly made that type of post - I have no interest in helping him with anything.

I admit I didn't take many of his comments seriously - opinions of someone focused on muscles and chest fur usually don't catch my interest.

Yep, in high school the craze was blue and white pinstriped seersucker suit, pink buttoned-down shirt, black wing-tipped shoes and a deep maroon tie.

      We wuzz bad-ass cool. :-)

Kurt; Here's the problem. You have proven yourself to be the Premium Claude Insulter on the Forum. You are perhaps the brightest person here. Certainly one of them.

You have set a standard for Claude Insults. The problem is, none of us are always at our best (Instantly thought of 2 great comebacks to that).

Frankly, your insult disappointed me. My insult to Dan, was almost exactly what he would say to me. And, in my opinion...a good insult.

I think you literally took my insult, slightly changed the meaning, and thought it would pass muster (another instant comeback come to mind).

Although not a bad insult, maybe even good.....it didn't meet my expectations.

I think you may be sloughing off. Maybe it's that I don't deserve your best, anymore (another instant insult comes to mind). Maybe it's that Riffle has been pretty inactive for a few days, and you don't have the stimulation (2 more insults came to mind).

Whatever it is, you are an inspiration to me. And it bothers me that I think you just phoned it in (insert 900 number joke). (additional joke, because I used the word "Insert")

I may be a harsh critic, but it's out of love....self love, it turns out...but love, nonetheless.

Your next insult to me, better get some love from Riffle, Whateverpedia, Frank, Other Frank, Richard, Ian, Thomas, Biz..a couple others.....or I'm not going to respond.

This ho hum insult attempt, has just gone on your permanent record.

By the way, can you report a post to the Mods...because the insult lacks punch?
