    WOW, I didn't find the site. I don't wear bow ties, and had to in kindergarten, and just got a clip on! For regular ties, I always used a half Windsor. It is OK for the military, interviews, etc...


    THIRTY ways? How many different occasions/ties could there be? You could find several ways to do almost anything, and even "experts" often don't bother to learn them all.

    I still struggle to tie a basic tie knot and if me mum is in the room she would still be getting asked.

    I agree with seasoned. Trying to learn that many ways to tie a simple tie looks like a lot of trouble. It's okay if this was shoe laces because there are different types of shoes. You could go funky or formal, but wearing a tie is exclusively for formality so a generic tying of the tie would suffice. Just my opinion.

    I'm partial to a full Windsor, and like you Steve, I've never been able to tie a bow tie. But the site left out my two favs, the clip on and the zipper
