"The Cupertino, Calif., electronics giant on Tuesday reported the best sales quarter in its 38-year history, as demand for its newest smartphones, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, soared beyond analysts' expectations.
The company said it sold a record 74.5 million iPhones during the period, much higher than the 66.5 million estimated by analysts, according to a poll by Fortune. That's 46 percent more devices than the record 51 million sold in the year-earlier quarter. This was the first full quarter of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sales since their debut."

Apple is the only stock that I have ever owned or would ever own. I struggled to learn the IBM PC when it launched. I don't have the proper type of thought process to mesh well with their architecture.

I bought a Macintosh they day they were released. My life was instantly transformed. What little creative ability I possessed at the time was immediately unleashed. The soon after purchase of the Apple Laserwriter Pro was the single most beneficial purchase I have ever made in my life. All of the floundering that I had previously experienced through my life's journey was instantly washed away. It created the opportunity to chart my own course in life, to create a springboard for financial independence a feeling of total control over my existence.

The proceeds of Apple stock over the years have paid for 2 lakefront homes, a gentleman's farm and an endless procession of toys. When I die and have the wing built at my local SPCA, one of the requirements of the gift is that the facility be named the Steve Jobs - Frank Falcone Rescue Habitat. I'm totally serious. That's how much I appreciate everything that the Apple computer has contributed to my existence on this planet. I am the ultimate Apple fan-boy, unashamedly so.

People used to make fun of me when Apple was sinking and the stock was at $15 per share. The company's demise was trumpeted on a daily basis. I encouraged everyone that I knew and cared about to buy as much Apple stock as they could. I told them that it was just a matter of time before it hit $100 a share. I think we all know how that turned out. Those that bought some stock, thank me to this day. Those that didn't oftentimes tell me that it was one of the single largest mistakes they ever made.

Apple is currently around $117 a share. I'm telling you here and now that before this year is over it will be $200 per share. You don't want to trust my word? Fine! All I can tell you is that Carl Icahn agrees with me - and he rarely makes an investing mistake. lol

      Long live, Apple!

      Cheers. - Frank

Greetings. That would be a farm where no one gets their hands dirty because nothing is ever actually planted. lol

I used it as a tropical fish farm. I had a building that housed 320 aquariums. I held the only aquaculture license issued by the NJ Dept. of Agriculture for the commercial production of ornamental tropical fish. All other licenses were issued for aquaculture farming of food items such as clams, oysters and the like.

            Oh Yeah!

I remember you showing me one of your videos of your fish that I had never heard of before way back when I first met you here.

            Awesomely cool, Frank!

What comes first, the chicken or the egg? I never made a nickle with a computer until I purchased Mac stuff with a credit card. That Laserwriter printer cost me $7000 on a Macy's charge account. The upgrade to the Plus was another $1000 which I paid for in cash from money made using the Laserwriter to produce 300 DPI, (perfectly acceptable for most uses), typesetting output.

You see how that works. :-)
