Wow. This post (with its clickbait title) has been up for over 24 hours, and not a single reply! I guess everybody out there is too busy testing the hypothesis.

I admit that sex affects my brain. But it has a lot larger impact on my loiney areas.
At least, that's how I remember it.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

Your memory is better than mine, and I already appreciate that your response will be, don't be too hard on yourself.

That's where your brain is Claude, so no problem.

I think that's what made me calm and sleepy, but I can't remember for sure if I had any.

I thought this only applied to men. You know, as the saying goes, men think with their organs. Sex would definitely affect men's brain from all that shaking and suffocation.

Not everyone believes that shaking and suffocation are normal parts of sex.

I learned that the hard way.

    Suffocation? uh..........

I don't even know how to respond to that. I just prefer to sleep by myself. They don't have to go home - but find a couch or something so I can snooze without having someone stealing covers and pillows or forcing me off to one side of the bed. I'm not an advocate of the idea that sleep deprivation and an active sex live have to be mutually inclusive.

      Not me.
There is something about spooning..and then waking up... next to a beautiful naked lady, that just starts the day off right.

You should try it. Everyone should try it. Except Riffle. For Riffle...Nothing.

(And everyone else has to pick a different naked lady. Just saying)

PS; The Suffocation meant that the brain is enclosed in a dark place, and can't breath. I then took this, and tried to make it funnier.

Actually, he's not all that young, Claude. I think he said he was ten when the Challenger exploded, which would make WC just shy of 40. The sad part is that I, too, took him to be a young man in his early 20's, until I saw his one post.

Have you read the opening paragraph of the article referenced by the OP: "Subjects might have to masturbate in an MRI machine."

Having had two MRI scans in the last year I can tell you that they are the least likely places to induce any sexual feelings at all! And are so cramped that I'm not even sure there would be room!

Also, I was surprised that out of the eight ways you are supposed to be affected by sex, 'It makes you happy' wasn't one of them. But then, sex in an MRI machine is more likely to induce extreme claustrophobia than happiness.

Sounds like the beginning of a new fetish sub-niche!
The MRI operator smiled as she left the room, leaving me alone with the giant GE Discovery MR 950 7T machine, the one I'd been dreaming about for weeks....
