Legendary North Carolina basketball coach Dean Smith has passed away at age 83. He was a great coach that will not be forgotten. He led the Tar Heels to 13 ACC championships, 11 Final Fours, 5 national title games, and 2 NCAA Championships. N.C. won 20 games or more in his final 27 seasons and they made the NCAA tourney 23 consecutive times. Dean's record at North Carolina was an incredible 879-254.

An amazing 96% of the athletes that played for Dean graduated...
