Barnett Management Company, Burger King's 2014 Franchisee of the Year, decided to give the reward back to employees this year. The executives at the Arizona company, which owns 24 Burger King locations, decided to cash in the new Corvette and Rolex they won as Franchisee of the Year to give employees bonuses

    Free press MAYBE, but it IS a nice gesture! SOME apparently got a few thousand dollars, and relevant people, ones that actually RUN the stores, or people below them, there probably make like $50K/year or less, so $3000 is a nice chunk. That is like an extra months salary!

    Employees make the difference between a customer coming back - or not.
    I hope he did it for that reason.

      I'm sure he did. Are people going to go there ONLY because he paid employees a part of his prize? I think it is unlikely. But like I implied, if they are RELEVANT, meaning the ones INVOLVED with the restaurant, it will help loyalty and may help bring in some nice employees. This may never happen again, but employees like to feel that it COULD! HECK, maybe they will have a nice year, and he will give them a bonus or something.
