Well, I'm pleased to know I have "perfect common sense"!

However, I'm not sure what knowing who the U.S. president was during a certain year has to do with common sense.... maybe I misread that question. The others, though, were amusing.

Obama is the answer, The presidents name was still Obama during those years.

I definitely misread it then, as I took the question to be asking the name of the residing president at that time, not the current one.... But it makes sense now... duh!

But I should get bonus points for knowing who was president in 1973, right?!

        Depends who you believe.

While I also garnered a "perfect common sense" score, my first house, a one story home, btw, had stairs...to the basement. Additionally, for the "white house" question, I answered DC even though it should have been "not enough information." The White House is in DC, not the white house. With a perfect score, it seemed to give me credit for it.

Nope. that only means your superior sense (we've graduated from the common)gravitates to the place that is in most need of it.

You have an abundance of common sense! You ranked in the 90%th percentile, which means that you are able to answer difficult questions correctly that the average person would not be able to. You analyze problems literally, and are able to see past trickery or distractions to come to solutions more easily than normal people. You have a mind for science and math, and intricate problem solving. Well done!
In truth, it's not so much common sense as being old enough to have come across most of the questions before.

There are no "calculations"....doesn't matter if you get each answer right or wrong...the resulting "you are so smart" seems to be the same.

This is funny... I took the test once and played it straight up. Scored "perfect common sense."

Then I reloaded the page and took it again. This time I intentionally answered every question wrong. Guess what? I scored in the 75th percentile. I guess they didn't want to make anyone feel bad.

I've done the same thing with online IQ tests. I knew a woman whose IQ didn't reach into the triple digits that thought she was near genius because of one of those tests. I think the real test is more of a "how much would you rely on this test for an accurate assessment instead of as purely an entertainment value thing" that we can judge results from. I didn't take this one. I like the ones that are more aimed at stupid stuff in the first place - like "what kind of a dog are you" or "what were you in your last life" type quizzes. As long as the conclusion is silly the test might as well be, too.

        Wait . . . you mean my IQ isn't three-hundred-and-eleventy-nine?

I'm sorry Dennis, but I'm pretty sure that yours probably isn't a point over two-hundred-and-eleventy-nine. It's okay, though, since because you like small dogs and prefer sunshine to rainy days, that you were a Viking king in your last life.

Sal - I read your reply on the Internet, so it must be true. Darn it all, anyway.
