      His real talent is just sounding great. It seems so many musicians want to show how many notes they can play per minute instead of just making music that sounds good. Brushy sounds really good.


      Brushy reminds me of what Hound Dog Taylor said about himself..."I couldn't play $#!t, but it sure sounded good."

        Exactly. I played with a guitar player a couple of years ago who was technically very good. But he didn't have any groove or soul. I found myself starting to sound like him where I was playing the beats and the fills but it sounded (to me) just mechanical.
        Whenever I listen to an acoustic song I addthe drums in my head. With Brushy there was nothing to add, he had it all.
