I was going to answer, "don't drive", but after seeing your picture, I guess the correct answer is, "peanut butter".

...if you're not allergic to peanuts, that is. Otherwise, here's a list of alternatives to peanut butter to enjoy with your traffic jam:

I was stuck in a traffic jam myself recently. The cause of it turned out to be a car that had crashed into a bus. The car was crushed like an accordion and there was damage to the bus, with various rescue vehicles surrounding the scene. My son asked me if anyone was killed in the accident. I told him I didn't know but it wouldn't be surprising if so. It definitely gave him a lesson on how dangerous driving can be.

Oh for sure, other drivers are your biggest threat! 2 incidences come to mind! I was coming out the supermarket and this young lady reversed out her space stupidly quick and slammed into the side of an oncoming car!! Secondly I was on the motorway, lorry just starts moving into my lane, lucky enough I was driving my brothers car which accelerates pretty quick, that could of ended badly. He may of saw me in the end but when you got a big lorry doing something stupid it's really dangerous.

Come to Vic, AU, we will have plenty of traffic jams in the near future!

And apparently changed legislation concerning large scale road project compensation.

          And a crap credit rating!

Agreed, (though I always have to remind myself that I am the "other" driver in everyone else's perception). I was hit by a car in '97 while I was crossing the street. They found me 40 feet away from the impact; all four of my limbs were shattered. It took a year of physical therapy before I could effectively return to "normal". Of course, some people are not as fortunate.

Always traffic jams in my area although much worse to the south and southeast than around here. No sense getting upset because you know it is going to happen around certain times of the day. The south and southeast have more jams more times of the day. It is one of the main reasons why we don't live in that area.

A relative was around an hour and a half late to her own wedding on a Saturday due to a traffic jam. It began to look like she had changed her mind. If it wasn't that cell phones were available to her, that is what everyone would have decided and just left.

Be patient and be courteous. (and good music helps)

When the kid was in middle school it would take me 30-40 minutes just to drive 3 miles in the morning but I took it as an opportunity to teach my riders about music.

Last week the uncle and I ran into a road work detail that forced 3 lanes into just one and I was letting people who were in front of me - in another lane, to get in my lane - which was the pass through lane.

He was angry because I was letting people get in front of me but I told him the favor would be returned in another situation.

A couple days later we ran into another jam and someone let me go much to his surprise.

The other day someone with the same car as mine allowed me to jump in front of them and I know it was mostly because we had the same model car.
