Why No Warrior Welcome Section?

At least to my recollection I do not remember the Warrior Forum ever having a Welcome section to welcome new members and Intro yourself. Most forums do. I wonder why not the WF?

Did you ever miss it or really not that important?

The Off-topic section doubles up as the Welcome to Warrior Forum section

@ NRabosa, they would get eaten alive in this section on day 1.

@ butters, hilarious..but you know we both can tell someone what is new in the Main section on any given day with our eyes closed. Generally speaking of course.

@ JagSEO. Bro Hug! Thanks for that. But I am actually an old warrior dog since 2006. My first profile way back then had ton of threads and comments but someone liked my screen name so much they went and registered the Domain name. Had another that was brand themed and sold the brand so I am reborn...again...sort of..

BTW...had them completely deleted but these days Freelancers policy is your threads stay no matter what I was told via helpdesk.

I've never really understood why people feel the need to announce themselves, or seek a rapturous welcome from existing members.

Surely the best way to introduce yourself to the forum is to start making useful posts?

Very good point indeed.....to be honest all these years I never even thought about it until today.

I was in another forum that is primarily very experienced business owners but yet they do have that section.

I guess it works with and without.

Now that is marketing! Now I know if I ever decide to flip that Adult Theme is another option...high 5!

Ahh Claude...one never leaves the off topic without a laugh, a grunt or an itch!

To be as accurate as possible, shouldn't that be Nothing But Tip?

Do you have first hand knowledge of this or was it a tip off?

If it were up to me, I'd much rather have a Goodbye section with Claude as the first person we all say "Bye!" to...

To introduce yourself you need a real name.
Most here these days are hiding behind silly usernames
and having their domain details hidden too.
The usual reason for this is because they've been here before under a different name.

Me personally I build brands and sell them. I create images to go with the brand.

I do not know if you have been on the online dating scene but someone can put a "real pic" sure...of about 15 years ago! So I do not waste my time judging who is keeping it real and to what degree of real on an online forum because any name and any pic could be total fudge.

Writers may have pen names and its perfectly normal, and some people are protecting their properties by not exposing them.

Many people may be fearful due to bad experiences they may have had with their identities by unscrupulous individuals as well.

Because let's face we have some serious CSI investigative wannabees who will reverse engineer anything and everything they can find to gain an edge....or even sabotage.

Some people want to be Gurus..to each his own its all good.

It aint all Disney out here on the web.

I personally just stick with quality of information given.

I think when people want to share more because they made some rapport with people they will.

I do not know what the owner of Plenty Of Fish looks like or his name actually but if he came here as Rich In Dating that would be fine by me.
