Aaron Hernandez verdict: Guilty of murder - CNN.com

He had everything, lots of money, fame, and now threw his life away at 25.
He definitely looks the type to get mad quick.

Made me download and watch Dead Man Walking with Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon again, for some reason.

I guess the evidence was so strong against him because he was charged without the mudder weapon. Dunno what drives someone to murder, especially knowing that your gonna loose the majority of your life in a cage.

The lack of hard evidence was quite disturbing considering the conviction.

... but, when you have as much circumstantial evidence as the prosecution did, I guess it makes the case a bit easier.

The jurors said they learned about other pending cases against Hernandez, including a pair of murder counts, after rendering their verdict. Asked how that made them feel, one juror said, "That we did the right thing."
He'll fit right in with his new home.

I don't care HOW young, famous, rich he was! If he committed cold blooded murder, he deserves it.

The former New England Patriot Tide End got what he deserved. The jury got it right. Aaron Hernandez was nothing but a thug who thought he got away with murder. With a history of violence at any perceived disrespectfulness, this guy is a narcissistic, cold-blooded killer.

The circumstantial evidence was overwhelming in my opinion and I would have also convicted him. There were no other leads and the evidence kept coming back to Hernandez and his thug buddies, of which were completely loyal to him and would do whatever he wanted.

He was a thug who got a NFL contract and he was too self-centered and full of ego to think he'd ever get caught. Even after the verdict was read he acted like it was no big deal. Even the officers who escorted him back to his prison cell remarked at how cool and calm he was.

Like a typical narcissist, it hasn't really hit him yet. He probably thinks his lawyers and appeals will get him out of this.

I hope he rots in jail.

Kudos to the victim's mother for forgiving him.

    I wouldn't have.

Glad to see justice was served.

I think this verdict is a good indication that the days of buying your way out of any repercussions for your actions is about over. I hope I'm right.

      Seems like a textbook Psychopath.

Cold blooded, above the law mentality, and just being brazen and almost zero conscious in what he did considering all he had to lose.

And from what Chris Simms said he was very charismatic and a charmer who had a smile on his face many times in the locker room when he was working around him..

      Like I said pure Psychopath

Glad to see our justice system to not give preferential treatment to athletes as there's been countless cases in the past where athletes and celebrities have gotten off the hook or very light sentences.
