Pity the mass media didn't say anything?

Curiosity Detects Methane Spike on Mars - NASA Science

And my latest Mars findings, these are a zipped file, and show more water and weird transparent spokes sticking out of a rock.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...15/CLEANED.zip

Pretty much dismisses the "everything l find is a rock" idea, unless transparent spoke rocks exist on Mars?

Just download and view using Windows, or Apple, they are full res, so can be enlarged, (l have shown the anomalies with arrows.

Original files numbers are included, so can be verified if needed.

    Shane;

    Every planet and moon in our solar system, with even the faintest wisp of an atmosphere...has Methane. Even Mercury has methane.

    Methane is found in Nebula, comets, planets...it's an extremely common compound.

    It just means that the chemistry of the Earth, is the same chemistry everywhere else.

    What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

      Hmmmm, maybe.....

      The methane in Mercury's atmosphere is believed to come from volcanism, geothermal processes, and hydrothermal activity. Methane is an unstable gas and requires a constant and very active source, because studies have shown that the methane is destroyed in less than on Earth year.
      Surprised Mercury has an atmosphere, and possibly even life, (water) so interesting, but not a good example. If life is on Mercury,...

      Atmosphere of Mercury

      If it is from another source, (which is less likely than microbes or volcanic activity) then it would have to be constant and substantial!

    That's an exciting find, Shane. Methane means something we didn't expect from either direction - either present organic life, or geological activity that wasn't known about earlier. Geological activity could be just as exciting a find as organisms, actually, since it would mean an active rather than dead core.

    Definitely keep us informed when NASA comes up with a conclusion about what caused the spike.

    As far as Mercury - not surprised. They say there's other signs of organic life at the poles, so-- methane.
