I know a lot of folks in this section of the forum already try to do their part to make the earth a better place - so this thread is just to salute you caring earth-loving people!

Today, I'm listening to beautiful Celtic music and later I'm going on a nature walk -

    I saw some pics of the aftermath of the gathering at Hippie Hill in California. It was trashed. Junk and litter EVERYWHERE.

    If you were there -- you need to be locked up. Earth Day is a celebration of the earth and it is a time that people pull together to clean up the damage careless, selfish, ignorant people wreak on the earth. It's not "let's go party and throw all our garbage everywhere" day.

    Shame on you all and get your worthless, hypocritical asses BACK to that hill and clean it the hell up. You are a waste of oxygen.

    I don't remember when it's made me so ill to see how low humans can get. Musta been the last time I saw a pic of a factory farm.

      wow - that is terrible - kind of defeats the whole purpose, eh? Our town did the Earth day clean up on Saturday - I was proud of the townspeople who participated - but then there are areas here where it's obvious people don't care and they just throw their litter everywhere - it's pretty disgusting.
