SOON, there will be a new job opening! It is limited to 10 years, but would YOU take it?

1. You become WORLD FAMOUS!
2. You get FREE ACCESS to a famous mansion!
3. ALL MAINTENANCE is paid for!
4. You get FREE TRAVEL!
5. You have a HUGE STAFF! They provide maid service, buttlering, cooking, concierge, etc....
6. They cover EVERYTHING!
7. You get a FREE FLEET OF CARS!
8. You get your OWN PLANE! OH YEAH, it is a 747 and has a BACKUP in case the first gets a little dirty or something. BTW you get special treatment, being able to fly nearly ANYWHERE, and airports are required to SHUT DOWN when you arrive or leave. A national law, with simiar laws in other nations, requires no air traffic within 2 miles of you. The nearest airport is FORBIDDEN to allow standing in the passenger compartment within 30 minutes of the airport.
9. You get your own POLICE FORCE! They travel in nice black and gold cars. DON'T WORRY! The area has ANOTHER police force for everyone else, but THEY are subservient to YOURS! They BOTH patrol 100 square miles around your residence, and check out where you go, etc... OH YEAH, your residence is bullet hardened, as are the cars!
10. You get FREE VACATIONS almost ANYWHERE!
11. You get FREE security for the rest of your life!
12. You get special buildings built in your name.
13. A signing bonus that may be in the MILLIONS of Dollars!
14. OH YEAH! ONE member of your family gets about $400K/year.
15. You could probably wangle a see cruise for free ALSO! Of course others are always giving you things.
16. You ALSO get FREE top notch health care(NOT INSURANCE, but the WHOLE THING!).
17. You ALSO get a special pension!

OK, would you want the above even if you were not paid a PENNY? One woman that is married to a person that is getting the $400K apparently says SHE should be paid ALSO! Her HUSBAND has claimed she should, even though she is really only his wife. INCREDIBLE! They have actually been paid BILLIONS of dollars, and STILL want MORE!! ANYWAY, the job is opening up soon.

    Since when did it become a 10 year job? I always thought it was for eight years, and even then she or he has to re-apply for the job after four years in the role..

      A LOT of people THINK that! Read the law! It is TEN years! HOW? If you replace your predecessor after 2 years, you can serve the ENTIRE remainder, and STILL have the 8 years everyone knows about. Of course, if you serve LONGER than 2 years, you are limited to an additional 4. If you serve NO extra, you are limited to 8 years. There have only been 2 or 3 people that had the chance at the full 10 years.

      "No person shall be [placed in] the office more than twice, and no person who has held the office , or acted, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected shall be elected to the office more than once."

      I just slightly obscured the hints to the office, but that is the law.

      In OTHER words, you can hold it TWICE *******AFTER******* serving up to 2 years!

    Fair enough, however you still don't get the 8/10 years automatically. You have to re-apply for it at least once (for an 8 year sinecure, and twice for a 10 year sinecure)..

      Well, YEAH! Once in either case, and the 10 years requires that your predecessor(s) all lose it at about the 2 year mark. ALSO, if you serve more than 2years in the first period, you can only apply once. So if you serve 3 years in the first period, you can only serve 7total.

      HECK! I'd go pink! I wouldn't want to wear pink all the time unless it became common, etc.... But I am fine with supporting women, etc.... If a decent one applies, I would be as happy to give her the job as much as I would a man. Of course, like I do with men, I WILL follow MLKs rules for discrimination! I will judge NOT on the color of their skin (OR GENDER), BUT (I WILL discriminate) on the content of their character.

    I would take it but seriously doubt I'd keep it given my unhealthy disrespect for authority. Besides, kinda hard to rail against the establishment when you're the establishment.

      Easy peasy. When in power rewrite all the laws to make everyone else the "establishment" and then rail away to your hearts content.
