    Sounds like a "stupid trick" to me. If they want to help they should staple a pack of condoms to each magazine.

        The virus does not live long outside the body. You cannot get it from consuming food handled by an HIV-infected person; even if the food contained small amounts of HIV-infected blood or semen, exposure to the air, heat from cooking, and stomach acid would destroy the virus.

            Because the virus is going straight into the blood stream. In most reported cases, the time of use from a HIV infected individual to a non HIV individual is a relatively short period... Eg,. Needle pricks happen moments after taking blood or drug users pass them about.
