All I can say is it's about time. I seriously wish there was something better that people actually used.

    Thanks for the article grover.

I am not at all surprised hearing this. PayPal has been marching to the beat of the their own drum for such a long time, its nice to see someone keeping an eye on them as they gobble up the competition and begin to bloat.

Paypal has always treated me fairly.

Making application to get their credit card, a default position when people sign up...is very minor. The options should be obvious. But I haven't signed up for Paypal for years, so don't know what the form looks like.

But people complaining because they didn't know there were payments? When the option for "Put it on your Papal charge card" was checked, what did they think was going to happen?

And every time I go on Paypal to pay for something, the option for a card is there. But it's obvious.

All I know is I recently went like half way through one of these things before I thought FORGET IT! I will try ONCE more and, if I end up here, I AM LEAVING!!!!!!

The SAD part is that these suits are just MORE THEFT! It is the government saying PSSST! I WANT MY "SHARE"!!!!!! PAY UP, or we will make your life a LIVING HELL!!!!!! If you pay up, we will tell the people you cheated to "BUGGER OFF"!!!!! A little british there, since I want to still say I haven't used the American variant, that starts with an F!

I used Paypal last night to pay for some web hosting. It took me a couple of seconds to realize what I was about to click was an optin for the Paypal credit card. It is very misleading how the checkout page was setup. You have to click a link at the bottom of the optin checkout to skip the credit card page & go to the actual checkout page to pay from funds in your account.
