Is Being Obsessed With Genetics Genetic?
Some individuals are fixated on attributing everything that individuals do to genetics. If seems to be a variation of fatalism, possibly defeatism. Forget about free will -- it is an illusion. It is all decided anyway. You can't decide to take control of the reigns and ride that horse were you want to go. It is fate.
Here's my question: Is being fixated on using genetics to explain everything, a genetic affliction? Is the compulsion to stuff everything into an Ayn Rand or "Bell Curve" elitism paradigm, a genetic ailment?
