I'm use my brain at best from midnight and to 4-5 in the morning.
And I like to work then also.
Don't know why, it is my thing.

Any other night owls here...? :p

I think I also work best when it's midnight to early morning. That's when our house gets quiet and I can concentrate on what I'm doing.

I am exactly the same way. I end up screwing around in the forums and on people's blogs most of the day and really get to work late at night. I usually get started around 11:30pm

I've always been a night person. I have no plans for changing that either.

Night owl quickly turns into an early morning owl if you stay up long enough

I've been a night owl too for the past couple of years. I don't know, but, I'm active at night.

I worked in a call center for 5 years so i had to work grave yard shift the whole time. Now that i work at home i find myself doing the same thing, sleeping in the afternoon and waking up at 8 Pm to start working on my stuff, its weird i was hoping my sleep pattern would improve but i guess if you get used to it long enough its hard to get back the old way of sleep.

Yeah, sometimes it is good to take
a walk in the night at 1 AM to clear
    my mind and relax.
In the day it is too much noise.

    My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night.
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
    It gives a lovely light.

I prefer working at night simply because then there are no disractions at all!

The only problem i find is i get hungry and sometimes bored and there is literally then nothing to do but eat, drink or smoke! None of those being particularly good especially when the drink is normally beer or some soda!

But still it has its advantages!

I'am a night shift person before in my work for almost 2 years but I think my body is already tired working at night. I have a less sleep when I was in night shift because during day time every one in our home and in the streets are very busy. Can't sleep because of the noise.

I have always been a night person, worked night shifts when I was still working for others, and have always been more sharp at night. I'm also an extreme insomniac which I am working on. I prefer to work through the night when everyone is in bed sleeping but the problem with that is that I work till 7am or so until i just pass out from sheer exhaustion. I've realized that this isn't good for my brain, body, or business so I have been trying to force myself to sleep some during the night now. So far so good but I'm waiting to see if it will stick, my insomnia goes in cycles so it's too soon to tell if this new habit will be long term.

    Depends upon my "day" job.

Since my "day" job is now from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning, then guess what, I qualify as a "night owl."

And, if I ever rotate back to days (if I ain't got myself financially free by then, of course), I will not be a night owl any more.

Make it a great day! (or is that night, in my case!)
