...but I'll try. Hi, I'm Laura. I can't believe I didn't find this forum years ago, but I'm glad I have now. I'm a web/graphic designer turned Internet marketer and teacher, and I love it. I loved graphic design too, but I've had enough working for others. I'm freeeeeeeeeee!

I'm sitting in my home office, trying to think of a non-boring introduction when I should be working. So I guess I'll get to it - I look forward to interacting with you all!

Welcome Laura, now the first thing I would do is check the forum rules (especially the sig part).

Thanks - but I couldn't find any reference to what was allowed in signatures other than that you can put links in them. I did quite a bit of searching because I know different forums often have different rules. Where can I find the rules?

Thank you to Mike, too, who PMed me. I can't PM back because I don't have a post yet that counts. Thanks to both of you for the heads-up.

Okay, I finally found the signature rules in the Main IM Discussion Forum. I was interested in some specific forums so I hadn't looked in that one. I thought the rules might be in the Warrior Forum News but not so. I also searched signature files, signature, signatures, and none of those came up with the thread in question. I couldn't search "sig" because it's too short.

I guess what I'm trying to say is - maybe these rules should be more obvious? If a person doesn't happen to go into the main forum, and the search brings nothing up, how are we to know? I don't say this to be argumentative; I'm just offering a suggestion from the perspective of someone new to the forum who conscientiously searched specifically for signature rules before posting and still got it wrong.

Thanks for listening and thanks for the welcome.
