    So many good memories with the first Fallout. It's a pity that we don't get to rexperience what it's like to immerese yourslef in a game.

    Age ruined it for me. It can be said for a myriad of things.

      I feel your pain somewhat. I got started with gaming in the early 80s. Pretty much every decent game that came out for the Acorn Electron. Back then, Elite Frontier (think it was called that?) was the game-changer; as far as I know the first true open world game. It looks horrendous now (compared to GTA, Skyrim, Fallout, etc) but despite all the modern advancements in gaming, I never seem able to capture that magic I'd feel from games in the 80s. I'm not really a gamer these days, but I do love the open worlds.
