He starts by destroying a few myths of the world wars, and finishes with an interesting present day assessment. He makes some good points!

Guy has it figured out. It's amazing if you go around history books and look at other sources, the difference between what happened and what they teach kids in school to indoctrinate them.

"Passports didn't exist before the end of WWII and people were free to move wheever they wanted" this guy claims.

    ROFL

England issued its first passports at the time of Henry V (who was immortalised by Shakespaeare's epynomous play with its famous "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers" speech before the battle of Agincourt). The wikipedia rntry on passports shows photos of passports issued by both Japan and China from the 19th Century. Even the Islamic Caliphate of the Middle Ages had a form of passport.

If the bloke can't even get that right, it's hard to take anything he says seriously. Just enough truth, mixed with half-truths and pure bullshit to convince the gullible he knows what he's talking about. He'd be a natural as a presenter on FoxNews.

The root causes of the Great Depression, the crash of 1987 and even the meltdown of recent memory was asset bubbles caused by the issuance of dodgy debt securities.

1929 - stockmarket bubble fuelled by margin loans.
1987 - stockmarket bubble fuelled by junk bonds.
2007/8 - real estate bubble fuelled by sub-prime mortgages.

The bloke's presentation was all over the place as well.. He'd have done a lot better if he'd scripted his spiel before recording the video with a coherent beginning, middle and conclusion. He raised a subject before veering off on several tangents. and then come back to the topic, and then off he'd go on several other tangents again.

5/10 for content; 2/10 for presentation. More effort required.

Thanks for saving me the time however long it may have been - before I deduced the guy really hasn't said anything significant.

Considering who thinks it's relevant, I prejudged anyway but thanks.

1987 was PLANNED!!!!!!!!! The "FED" raised rates, because things were going too well!
1999 was the SAME THING! After 1999 things got SO bad that thy had to do a quick and really impossible reverse. They kept doing it and NOW are talking about changing direction YET AGAIN!!!! A LOT of down days in the past 2-3 years have been blamd on apprehension of when the fed will reverse.

1929 - stockmarket bubble fuelled by margin loans.
OH, but THAT was because of a 7:1 margin, and banks controlling ALL! After 1933 they passed laws limiting the margin to 2:1, and banks were FORBIDDEN to go into insurance, or securities, and were FORBIDDEN to provide margin loans! In the late 1980s, banks started breaking the law. In 1999, the law, or at least MOST of it was overturned. In 2009, they passed rules favoring banks and NOW, you even have INSURANCE companies becomming banks!!!!!!

1987 - stockmarket bubble fuelled by junk bonds.
Junk bonds ALWAYS existed. Mike milken(sp?) WAS convicted, etc... but the weak dollar and new high rates really helped hurt the economy!

2007/8 - real estate bubble fuelled by sub-prime mortgages.
ANOTHER GOVERNMENT SCAM! CONGRESS DEMANDED that requirements be lowered, partially because of, and fueled by, the low rates because they STILL hadn't corrected the garbage in 1999!!!! I started talking about that in 1999(NINE YEARS BEFORE 2008)!

Yeah, I couldn't speak to the passports, but the deal about the wars and loss of freedom hit the mark.

There's another thing I've realised sfter watching it again.

The guy keeps raving on about how he went to a "Canadian Ivy League school" and constantly rants about how anyone who went to a public school is obviously an illiterate brainwashed oaf.

    What a wanker.
