EU leaders are for the first time talking openly about Greek default and its ejection from the euro.
Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European commission, reflected the anger in Brussels at the way Tsipras has been approaching the deadlocked negotiations by saying he had "sympathy for the Greek people but not the Greek government". Juncker was until recently rated as one of Tsipras's only allies.

I don't see how the Greek govt can do otherwise - it was elected on promises of easing hardships and standing up to EU countries.

I'm not any expert on Greece but I'd think at this point the people there truly believe they would be better off out of the EU.

They may be right. I wonder how much longer they can drag it out - and how much worse it might be because they've dragged it out so long already....

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
