Some of you know that I love the progressive rock band, Yes, and have been following their music since the 70's. I was privileged to see them live in 1976 in Vancouver and I was simply mesmerized by their immense talent.
Well on Sunday, their iconic bassist, Chris Squire, died apparently of leukemia and I couldn't be sadder. He was incredibly talented. Here are a couple of live videos of Yes performances featuring Chris Squire on bass -
rest in peace, Chris!

Nooooooo, No, say it is not so. My favorite Prog Rock group of all time, my favorite bass player. They were still touring. He did not look that well of late but never realized he was that ill.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Chris Squire was an astonishingly talented bassist and seems to have been a really cool guy as well. I love this clip where Chris describes with great self-deprecating humour how he first met Hendrix at a small club in London in the 1960s.

      RIP Chris Squire.
