Yes, already, because of my exclusive relationship with Nasa I am able to bring you a few leaked photo's of the surface. Ice mountains no less.

    Ice mountains?

Who'd have thunk it? With Pluto being so close to the sun and all.

What fascinates me is the fact that a planet that far from the sun can actually have volcanic activity. I would have thought it'd be frozen through.

No, Sal, Neptunes moon, has active guysers, which was created by the weak sunlight partially melting the surface ice, (or something like that)?

Pluto eventhough more distant, would still have the same process?

See my Pluto update post for a possible volcano?

Yeah, l know blatant attempt to corall visitors to my Pluto post, but l have to try something?

I know they can have them -- I just find it fascinating.

These volcanoes spew liquid Nitrogen. or liquid Methane. The planet is only a few degrees above absolute zero. The difference in a few degrees on the surface...(because of the elliptical orbit) causes a very slight atmosphere to form, half the year. And this few degrees can cause seismic events

The nitrogen (and a few other elements) turns into a liquid, then gas, in the summer, then freezes back to a solid in the winter. So the surface keeps getting renewed. Water ice stays solid all the time.

What's amazing to me, is the distances. The probe is at a constant 50,000 MPH, after an assist from Jupiter. And even then, it took ten years to get to Pluto. That's thirty times the speed of a bullet. The fastest object we've ever sent into space. and the accuracy needed was near impossible.

      Truly an astounding feat.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

      Arrrr, first conspiracy, knew it!

      And the leaked image!

Let's just hope that they don't use the probe for target practice?
