A cat decided to befriend a potential meal, and protect it against others in her group.
Later, she did the same with ANOTHER unrelated animal.
OK, you say, big deal! We have seen cats with dogs, and even mice and birds. OK, I haven't revealed the punch line yet. You see, the cat DID kill the baby's mother in the first case. Somehow, she seemed t simply develop a kind of appreciation for the baby. OH YEAH! Did I mention that the cat is a LIONESS?
